While taking a meeting with notoriously conservative, anti-trans group Moms for Liberty, Trump made some outrageous statements. In a longer segment focused on trans people, he stated that parents send their kids to public schools, which then perform gender-affirming operations on them, and send the kids back a few days later unrecognizable to their parents. Moms of Liberty founder went on to praise Trump for these remarks, despite their obvious falsehood. Rhetoric like this continues to set trans people and public school teachers up as predators stealing children, which surely won't lead to any retaliation......
