Hawaiian Taro Harvest: Lenalena
Aloha Fellow Farmers,
We pulled some Lenalena at 8-9 Months. Grown in a dry environment and also in a māla or a mulched garden. These kalo have a lenalena color to the corm as well as the bottom of the huli after the kalo has been cut away. They have dark green stripes and a light green background to the petiole.
