DIY Boat Building - The modified Glen-L Tuffy
I built this Glen-L Tuffy during 5 months In 2012. The original drawings are for 13ft lenght, and with a flatter deck without the windscreen. I modified the Tuffy to 14 ft lenght, and added a slightly higher and curved deck.
The Tuffy is a stitch & glue design, built from exterior plywood, all sealed with epoxy resin and fiberglass.
The vintage (1978) Suzuki 50hp takes the Tuffy to about 35kts.
Her name is "Slice of Life" :-)
