In this video I’ll be showcasing a super handy automation system I've created to help you sort through your receipts and invoices, especially the ones cluttering your email. This automation will save these documents as Google files in a dedicated Google Drive folder, making use of pdf.co for efficient PDF parsing and ChatGPT for organizing the extracted content. Whether you're a business owner or just someone looking to manage personal expenses better, this automation is bound to streamline your process!
So here’s how it works: the automation scans unread emails in my Gmail (or any email service you use), pulls out any attachments, and processes them via pdf.co to convert them to text. Next, ChatGPT organizes the data, which is then uploaded to a Google Drive folder and logged into a Google Sheet with all the key details and a direct link to each file. It’s a simple and efficient way to keep track of every receipt and invoice. I’ll walk you through each step, and by the end of the video, you’ll see how easy it is to customize this setup for your specific needs.
