This is a bit of a special little video for me.
I've been learning Blender slowly despite many challenges.
I'm not where I'd want to be as a 3D artist, but I've grown a lot since the beginning.

NFT disclaimer:
Yes I sell some art as NFTs.
The NFT market has deteriorated significantly since I begun last year. Scams, rugpulls and content theft are constantly on the rise, as well as fundamental issues such as environmental damage and transaction costs.
Ironically, NFTs are still doing a lot for artists, especially those from third-world countries like me, by providing an open market and access to one of the most inclusive art communities on earth.
I've donated large parts of my gains to carbon offsets and forest initiatives to try and offset the blockchain. There is also hope for Ethereum as it is transitioning to a more efficient processing method.
Bitcoin is still the environmental behemoth though, thank god there are no NFTs there.
Personally I've been able to escape the freelancing rat race in just a few months. Now I'm able to create what I want and sell it to people who actually value my art for what it is, art.
I've also donated roughly $10,000 so far as previously stated. Before that, I used to make like $2k a year making posters on Fiverr.
I don't care about the 10,000 animal projects and all the "NFT traders" buying and selling them for profit, that's a bubble. But art will always prevail and the underlying technology is a strong launchpad for the next generation of independent artists.
TLDR: NFTs are pretty terrible but NFT art is freaking awesome.
