Peter Maravell received his musical education at Juilliard and Columbia University. For five years he was bass soloist with the famed Robert Shaw Chorale. He then won two Fullbright Scholarships to Rome where he sang with the Rome Opera Company and also did a joint concert with Beniamino Gigli. Since 1996 he has sung with The New York City Opera and he also maintains a very active voice studio at his home in Greenlawn, New York.
Accompanist Vladimir Polezhayev received his musical education at Leningrad Conservatory. He was awarded two top honor diplomas: pianist, accompanist, teacher, composer, arranger and conductor. He and his wife, Yelena, founded a recording studio, and a music school for gifted children and created the Long Island Piano Duet.
