This video is based on my true story of Living in America as an Immigrant. As an immigrant, I faced many struggles but I was wrong about America. Let me tell you, I came from Pakistan to the US as an immigrant student. It takes a lot of heart and grit to survive in a foreign country like America as an immigrant foreigner, especially in a metropolitan city like Washington DC. Especially if you are moving from a third-world country like Pakistan to the USA, that makes it twice as tough.
From being homeless and sleeping in my car for months to working 2 jobs at a time, while going to school full time, this immigrant success story would inspire anyone whether they are an immigrant foreigner or not.
After living with my sister for a few months, I moved out on my own. This was the most difficult phase of my life. But I stuck to my dream and many years later I turned it around into a great success story. How did it all happen is a long story but I tried to summarize this in a short clip so you can see my journey in a succinct format. It may inspire some people to learn how to move from Pakistan to USA and survive as an immigrant.
I was wrong about America. I didn't expect so many people to help me, as an immigrant, so many good souls I would meet through my journey. Yet, I also met some people who were not so nice to me. Nonetheless, it has been a wonderful, life-changing experience. I am happy that I came here and the many opportunities America provided me to make my parents proud.
