2024 Grand Blue Mile Presented by Wellmark Highlight
The Grand Blue Mile presented by Wellmark is the result of a collaboration between Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the Drake Relays which began in 2010 with a vision to host an inclusive community event for all ages and abilities.
Since its inception, the Grand Blue Mile has grown to become America’s second-largest one-mile race — attracting more than 50,000 participants over the years and raising $100,000 for Iowa Kidstrong to expand its programming and curriculum for school-based wellness.
