Maha Shivaratri with Steve DeAngelo
I was invited by Legalize Nepal Official to the Maha Shivaratri celebration at the Shree Divya Dham Temple in Queens, NY. Lord Shiva, in the Hindu tradition, is the diety who brought cannabis from the Himalayas down to the people. It was a heart opening experience to see the temple and its devotees integrate the plant back into its public rituals especially on such an auspicious day. Om Namah Shivaya.
