The B-17's Fatal Flaw
The B-17 flying fortress had a Mysterious but Fatal design flaw from the first day they entered service. A flaw that would cause a number of B-17s to spontaneously combust mid-air and their crews to perish. Nobody understood why it happened, as there were usually no knowledgeable survivors from this type of accident…Until this day when the mystery was finally solved.
