Julianne Hough as Betty Brosmer Meets Joe Weider & Jack LaLanne - A Dramatization
The 2018 movie "Bigger", a biography of bodybuilding, publishing, and supplement magnate Joe Weider, takes TREMENDOUS dramatic license throughout. Not sure if Joe ever met Jack, but if he did I highly doubt it went down anything like this. How about Julianne Hough (as Joe's future wife Betty) effortlessly doing those "Captain's Chair" leg lifts! Colton Hayes is credited as Jack LaLanne, and of course the guy doing his best to approximate Joe's wacky accent is currently TV's Superman, Tyler Hoechlin. Watch the movie for laughs, but if you're looking for historical accuracy, read some books.
