ZTEdge Web Application Isolation (WAI) and OWASP Threat Vectors
In this introductory video to the series of Ericom Software's ZTEdge Web Application Isolation, Dr. Chase Cunningham, Ericom's Chief Strategy Officer known as "Dr. Zero Trust", takes a basic look at some overt and common web application and internet facing application related threats. In this video he discusses and shows (proves) that there are a variety of easily discovered web related threats on the internet and discusses why they are require better security. He shares thoughts about out how we should think about them in a broad context.
He recently set up a fictional Juice Shop to demonstrate an innovative isolation-based solution for protecting web applications from the most dangerous threats, as ranked in the OWASP Top 10. The app, which he created on the HyperQube test platform, is designed to be super vulnerable – with “as many holes as Swiss cheese.”
