I put the mash on domestic malt smoked with peat. Due to the events of recent years, access to high-quality malt from foggy Albion has ceased. But we have a lot of craftsmen and enthusiasts, in this case my colleagues from the Kursk region decided to take everything into their own hands, studied the basics of malt smoking, Soviet-era documentation on peat bogs, conducted experiments and selected several peat deposits that give interesting results when smoking malt. As a result, what is now called import substitution appeared on the Russian market. This malt is available on Avito at a price of about 150 rubles / kg, as well as on Ozone and Wildberries with their markups.
