I made my own fun little Halloween costume this year! I was a Rat Beanie Baby stuffed animal! But not a mouse beanie baby, don't fact check me. This DIY includes using a lot of different elements and materials such as sewing, sculpting with foam, dyeing or tie dyeing, painting, drawing, accessorizing and detailing, and many more! Embroidery? probably! Not crochet though!
Making this hoodie was kind of like cosplay, except not a character from media. Just a rat. I think the building process is about the same for something fairly simple. This costume was a lot of fun and really spooky! SO spooky in fact that I sure hope there's no Five Nights at Freddy's scary movie jump scare in this. That would be crazy. Maybe I'll whip this out again for the family function at Thanksgiving or Christmas. That will make my family very happy. I learned a lot in this video about costume making and you can too by getting inspiration from my process. Maybe you can use this video as a tutorial for your own Rat Beanie Baby costume and hoodie and tail and we can take over the world and make everyone subscribe to us.
