In this video, we take a look at a York natural gas furnace and AC system originally installed in 1996. While our team was called out for routine maintenance , we discovered that the system was well past its expected lifespan. With bad burners and poor flame quality, the safest and most efficient path forward for the homeowner was a full system upgrade.

What happens during an HVAC Replacement Scope?
Model & Serial Identification: We capture all data to ensure compatibility.
Precise Measurements: Taking exact length, width, and height to ensure the new unit fits perfectly in the existing footprint.
Refrigerant Transition: We plan the move from obsolete R-22 refrigerant to the new, eco-friendly R-454B.
Code Compliance: Measuring distances to crawl space doors to meet local inspection standards.
Electrical Evaluation: Checking breaker boxes and wiring for indoor and outdoor units.

Why Upgrade in 2025? The industry is currently transitioning away from R-410A to R-454B (Puron Advance). The new R-454B refrigerant has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 466, which is a 78% reduction compared to older systems. Modern inverter-driven systems can also cut your energy use.
