Amazon Mission 2 | Inspirali Education
The Amazon Mission is an initiative of Inspirali, the health division of the Ânima Ecosystem, which aims to carry out a series of humanitarian actions on a voluntary basis with vulnerable populations in the Tapajós River region.
Serving approximately 2,000 people in each Mission, students and teachers from Inspirali's 14 schools bring comfort and health to riverside communities through the Abaré River Health Unit, providing care in family medicine, gynecology, and pediatrics, as well as home visits and immunizations.
Integrated with the health teams of all the municipalities served, the actions promote learning and provide students with a humanistic education concerned with the less fortunate, understanding their role in society. For the teachers and professionals involved, the Mission makes the desire to help tangible, serving as a model or personal guide for those who follow in their footsteps.
