Increase your hard disk Volume cluster size without losing your files
What started out as a simple five minute task of adding an additional hard drive to an existing windows volume, ended up as a 2-3 day nail-biter while I changed the Cluster size of the volume to accommodate an extra hard drive.
The video covers the initial problem, the limitations of cluster sizes, a solution on how to preserve your files while changing the cluster size and we finish with adding the Hard drive to the volume.
This wasn't something I was aware off when I created the initial Chia farming volume, but it's been a good learning experience and hopefully this video helps anyone else in the same situation.
The easiest way to avoid getting in this situation to start with is to consider the cluster size at the time you create the Volume? Check out the cluster sizes mentioned in the video and plan ahead.
