Welcome to the Metroidvania Forge, a game dev tutorial series in Godot 4!
In this episode we will bring our tile map assets into Godot, use it to create a tile set asset with physics colliders & auto-tiling terrain, and use it to build our first level. In addition, I share some techniques for getting a little more out of our tile sets, with minimal effort.
