May Gardening and Seeds to Start | PNW Zone 8b
Happy May!! I can’t believe it is already May!! I wait for gardening season all year and then it is here and I am excited.
May marks a lot of milestones in the garden. Generally, Mother’s Day is a great time to transplant out the seedlings you have been taking care of inside. Early May/late April is the time to start squash, pumpkins, corn, beans and warm livening flowers like sunflowers and zinnias. Basically, everything can be directly down now- which is exciting!!
There is so much to do in the May garden so give yourself grace and know that soon you will be enjoying what you have been laboring over.
