The Reggiane Re.2005 is one of the many models produced by Reggio Emilia's "Reggiane" factory, owned by Gianni Caproni. The aircraft joins a long list of aircraft produced by the national industry, which were not always up to par in terms of quality and, indeed, a symbol of its shortcomings.
