Bloodborne - Best Physical Gem Farming Locations (Radial, Triangular)
Hey guys, here are some easy ways to farm the 27.2% physical damage increase gems for Radial (Pthumeru) and Triangular (Isz).
The way to best farm the top gems is to do these dungeons and kill the boss as quickly as possible, and then repeat it. The trash mobs will drop gems but they aren't worth picking up compared to the stuff the bosses drop.
The gems the boss drop can come in different ranks, 19 being the highest. You want rank 19 tempering gems (which means +Physical %) The only way to get a rank 20 gem is from a final boss and farming those would take forever.
The possible negative effects that come on these cursed gems are as follows:
Minus 10-11% Attack vs Kin
Minus 10-11% Attack vs Beasts
Reduced Weapon durability by around ~60 (They make it so your weapon durability goes down 1 rating per enemy hit I think, aren't worth it)
Minus Attack Power, which defeats the whole point of having a high value gem
Increased Stamina on skills by ~3%. This is the good one. Having 3 of these is a very small price to pay for such a massive boost in damage. You made need to be patient to get 3 rank 19 with reduced stamina, but thats what I farmed for.
If you end up with like 3 of the -Atk vs Kin or Beasts you could put all of them in the same weapon and just not use it on the specific enemy type it gets the damage reduction on and it will kick everything else's ass. I didn't have the patience to farm all stamina 27's so my Blade of Mercy has some 27's with -Kin dmg.
