Stories from a Frozen Waterfall - Norway
In this video I tell you stories from a frozen waterfall in Norway. I spent many evenings in the Norwegian countryside this winter, filming the frozen waterfall, recording ice sounds and river sounds, reflecting about these strong nature forces that we are a part of, the cold, the winter, the ice, and how we mirror what is happening in nature within ourselves.
The long norwegian winter can wear me down, especially in February. Why wouldn't we be affected by the ice and the cold, when our bodies consist of so much water? Take one look at this frozen waterfall and you know, how strongly the winter affects water. My blood is like this river, constantly flowing, trying to fight off the ice, and its hard work!
