BA(HONS) MUSIC TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCTION - UEL
Course:
Advanced Practice: Performance, Technology & Interactive
by Petros Anagnostopoulos
What is a musical instrument?
What happens when traditional instruments meet electronic devices?
Can Corona Virus be an obstacle to an interactive performance?
This project is going to answer all of these questions.
Exploring the musical potential of butterfly effect theory, through Arduino Hardware and Software, Max/MSP and Ableton, a musical performance took place for the needs of this course.
This performance combines sensors (ultrasonic, thermosensor), androids, visuals (from vibrations), pre-recorded samples (drums, bass, guitars) and interactivity among musicians.
