On July 13th, I decided to go railfanning in the San Juan Capistrano area as it's been a while. The first of the two crossings I filmed was here at Avenida Aueropuerto (or Airport Avenue). M663 was blowing its horn from a private passive trail crossing, and that was my queue to start filming.
As you can see, since my last visit here in November 2021, nothing really has changed. The only thing I noticed is that Metrolink reverted the bell sequence where the pedestrain signals initially had their bells ringing till gates rise to now ringing through the whole activation. In which was the original preffered sequence Metrolink likes.
