Kırmızı Mikrofon in Concert
Turkish Music Choir KIRMIZI MiKROFON held a successful concert at the James Madison High School, in Vienna, Virginia, on June 3rd, 2023, to raise money for the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey. The concert was a joyous and unforgettable experience for all who attended.
The choir, which was founded in November 2021, is made up of singers from a variety of backgrounds. They are all united by their love of Turkish music and culture. The choir's two-hour performance featured a variety of Turkish folk songs, classical pieces, and modern pop songs.
Mrs. Inci Mercan, the wife of the Turkish ambassador, was in attendance and said that she felt "very privileged to be in such a beautiful concert." Mrs. Inci also thanked the performers for their compassion in donating the proceeds to the earthquake survivors in Türkiye.
