With the Derail Valley B99.4 update we got lots of new gadgets! One of them being the new Proximity Reader and Proximity Sensor. This video will go over how to install and use the reader and sensor using the DE6 locomotive. The reader and sensors are compatible with any locomotive.

The Developer Changelog notes for the Proximity Reader and Proximity Sensors:
• Added Proximity Sensor and Proximity Reader
• Proximity Sensor is portable device that is mounted on couplers
• Proximity Reader is a gadget that shows information from Proximity Sensors
• Both feature settings about their range and pairing (automatic vs. channel explicit)
• The sensor may detect vehicles on adjacent tracks, depending on the set range
• The Reader is available at the MF shop for $12,000, 10 in stock
• The Sensor is available at the MF shop for $8,500, 20 in stock
