SA2 Kart Racing Guide
A guide to the different Kart Racing tracks is SA2. I will be going through each of the difficulties and discussing strategies or how I think things work in the mode.
Kart Stats:
Sonic has a higher speed stat than most characters, with average acceleration. An average grip means that he can make sharper turns, and a slightly lower brake stat means he won’t slow down that much when the acceleration button is released.
His alt trades out some of his braking abilities and grip for extra speed.
Tails excels in acceleration, with a lower speed stat. His higher brake stat means he’ll slow down more when the acceleration button is released, and he has a slightly better grip than Sonic.
The Chao alt cuts the acceleration and brake stats for a significant boost in speed. Its grip on the track is also lowered.
Knuckles is a very jack-of-all-trades choice, his Speed and Acceleration stats are similar, and he has an average brake stat, and decent grip.
His alt lowers his brake and grip stats to raise his speed and acceleration stats.
Shadow has another Kart with a higher speed stat and average acceleration. Has an average brake stat and grip stat as well.
His Alt lowers his acceleration significantly, and his brake slightly, in return for an extremely high speed stat.
Eggman has a very high Brake and grip stat, with an average speed stat and low acceleration.
His Alt is just an upgrade, raising his grip stat significantly, as well as his speed stat.
Rouge has an average speed, brake, and grip stat, with a high acceleration stat.
The Egg-robo alt equalizes the brake and grip stats, and trades some acceleration for high speed.
