Mike Scap - Faraway Lover
The musical genius of Mike Scap
In 1985 after doing over 200 Lazy B shows together, Bill Nash, Mike Scap, and I went into the studio at Colorado Sound to record my first original album, "Home to the Mountains." One of the songs was a bluegrass number titled "Faraway Lover" on which Mike played mandolin and flatpicked guitar. I played banjo and Bill added in some of his magical vocal harmonies.
