Searching for Peace in a Mega City: Shanghai VLOG
City living isn't for everyone- and whilst I LOVE living in Shanghai, China with it's vibrant and sleepless energy, I'm still a country girl at heart and can find the hustle and bustle of city life overwhelming. I'm sure I'm not the only expat to feel this way.
So this week, I'm on a mission to find peace and slow living in my daily life and take the time to prioritize the calmer side of life.
Is it possible to live a peaceful life in such a big city? Whether you're in Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, Sydney, London, or New York, A balance between city life and slower living is definitely the way to go. I want to continue to find little escapes in everyday life and making more social activities outdoors like camping with friends.
We explore the stunning streets near Wukang Road to try the delectable lunch at The Cue, pop into Bites & Brews for a mouth watering lunch, and escape city life by camping and walking through our local meadow.
