Fast fashion has accelerated the environmental destruction caused by clothing manufacturing through pressure to buy more clothing, throwing clothing away rather than repairing it, and microplastics released from synthetic fibers. How can we combat it right here in Westchester? Watch and learn about local ways to participate in the circular economy and the options for textile recycling, and hear from local thrift shop owners on the ways their businesses are making a difference.
