Data network access technology for GSM phones. You might also hear HSUPA, or High-Speed Uplink Packet Access. It's incrementally better than HSDPA with less lag/latency.
Apple iPhone 3G introduced data connections using EDGE at 384 kbps, and HSPA at 3.6 Mbps. HSDPA is actually a subset of HSPA so I should say HSPA+ here not HSDPA+. Many parts of the world outside of Canada and the United States are already there at HSPA 21 Mbps.
