SBN Newscast 23.07 ft. Hebridean Scotch Whisky Bond Special
This week we were joined by Katherine Frangos and Peter Brown of Uisge Beatha nan Eilean, a Community Benefit Distillery on the isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides.
Uisge Beatha nan Eilean will be the Outer Hebrides’ first community owned distillery, established as a community benefit society to support development initiatives on Barra and Vatersay through a development trust. With a planned annual output of 25,400 litres, the distillery will offer top-quality whisky through single cask bottlings from island-grown barley fermented, distilled, matured and bottled on the Isle of Barra.
