Global Girmit Textbook Video Web Series Ep 0003
Episode 003 is part of Raivizion.com's current web series which seeks to provide a counter-narrative to the colonial and neo-colonial narratives that have their origin in events dating back approximately 4,000 years. I see these events and the subsequent development of the Doctrine of Discovery, Sub-humanization, and Terra Nullius, as essential to understanding the development of policies by the colonialists to recruit, transport, exploit and exile more than 3 million young Indian men, women, and children in the European colonies. The information that I share in this web series is from the book that I am currently writing which I hope will become the first-ever textbook written and published for the study of global girmit. The textbook will be accompanied by a Global Girmit Study Curriculum.
