Sachin Tendulkar Tribute by a Sachinist
All good things come to an end... And so it is for all cricket fans... Few weeks back Sachin announced his retirement after his 200th test... I had people around me saying "Finally !!"... I don't know what is causing such a reaction.. This man wanted to do what he has best done since the age of 11 for a little longer time, as long as he can... Just because there are young players doesn't mean you must give this guy a hateful reaction and urge him to leave... Age does not deter the will and strength to do what you like the most... Sachin is a living example for that... Despite few people's reaction, Sachin got a wonderful farewell gift from his team- World Cup, IPL trophy, CLT20 trophy... No other man is blessed with such a team...
As for me, this is far from good bye... I grew up idolizing Sachin. For 10 more years from now there will be relays of matches of this legend, the next 10 years I will browse through my personal collections, after that I will spend the rest of my life relishing and sharing the moments and stories about this legend...
I don't know what being a fanatic is... But this is just SACHINISM my religion !!!!
