Indigo Ag was founded in 2014 and is already valued at more than USD1.4B. Jon talks in this interview about the Future of agriculture.
Jons team is dedicated to helping growers overcome barriers to adopting farming practices that can maximize their profits and carbon sequestration. The interdisciplinary team includes scientists, agronomists, regenerative ag specialists, data scientists, product managers, and business strategists. He previously co-founded and co-led the Innovation Team at Indigo. Before joining Indigo, he served as principal scientist at Nano Terra, a product development incubator.
Jon completed his post-doctoral research at Harvard University, where he worked on a cross-functional team to develop technologies for diagnostics, therapeutics, and manufacturing applications. He was awarded his Ph.D in chemistry from Northwestern University exploring new materials for flexible and transparent electronics, and his B.S. in chemistry from the University of St. Thomas. Jon has been published more than 25 peer-reviewed publications has 13 patents granted or pending.
