How can we change the future for kids in poverty?
How can we change their future if we ourselves have never experienced poverty?
When we understand both trauma and generational poverty, we’re empowered to become effective brain-builders and able to create resilience in the classroom, the workplace, and the home. Poverty continues to overwhelm our families, our communities, and our institutions.
Join us as we followed ESSDACK's Rebecca Lewis-Pankratz to USD 382 Pratt, Kansas to lead the simulation she developed that allows people to take a look at the realities of life for people living in poverty every single day. It takes you through a one-month simulation of paying bills, child care, housing, and other challenges of everyday life.
How can you bring Rebecca to your location to lead a poverty simulation?
