MORE USELESS TECHNIQUES! Why simply jump slam when you can BLOCK jump slam jam? #MakeGreatshieldsGreatAgain
HOW TO SLAM JAM
Like the other video, simply do any move and hold guard, when your shield arm returns to the idle position do a jump attack when the arm does a weird spasm between the animation you just did and returning to idle.
I'd recommend practising block parries/block attacks, since the timing is EXACTLY the same, we are just inputting a different move.
Actually this has more use than I'm letting on, when playing greatshields after landing a SLAM JAM they are flattened so they can't counter attack, allowing the follow up slam to be a blocking one. Block attacks have a small delay since they have wait a bit for the animation change rather than just inputting another move, but this is ideal since it is really easy to land 2nd hit's by delaying your jump a tad and catching them on the roll away. So it's a decent trick... if playing great shields only...
