BLENDER 2.8: Modeling a Subway Scene: Part 15 (Coffee Cup, Wrench)
(Oh oh! I obviously didn't have enough coffee when I made this. Two mistakes that need to be fixed for next time. One, the coffee cup is too small compared to the wrench and screwdriver. Fix will be to reduce the size of the wrench and screwdriver because the coffee cup is reasonably sized compared to the bottles and other items (I think?). Second, I deleted the bottom face of the coffee cup. Will fix that too. Ok carry on.)

Gotta' have coffee, for sure! Let's model a simple coffee cup and use simple deform to taper it. As is, the coffee cups look a bit too small relative to the tools (wrench and screwdriver) so I will likely adjust that.
Then we make a scifi wrench with probably the easiest method around and we cut corners by adding some grip-able teeth to allow the wrench to adapt to any shape. Hey it's scifi so anything goes, right?
