Coffee Toning
I made a video on how I toned my paper with coffee.
I like drawing / painting on a toned paper.
I find it quite difficult to find a toned paper, especially for watercolor painting (and it would be quite expensive if I can find one), so I tried tone it myself with coffee powder.
The result is somewhat like an antique / vintage old paper, which I actually like (plus there's a little bit coffee smell :)
Tools I used:
Watercolor paper (I use cold press 100% cotton, 300 gsm)
Coffee powder (anything should do, I use dark roast fine grind)
Large flat brush. The bigger the better
Masking tape and a drawing board big enough to hold the paper
Water spray
Optional : hair dryer
