Hiiii didn't originally plan on making these into a video which is why they're not at a normal video ratio.
The idea is that the crayon brush stuff is one (possibly fake) world and the smoother pen brush stuff is another (real?) world, and the angel is like... trying to be part of that crayon world but when they get too close they cut their hand, revealing that they're the smoother stuff on the inside.
Dunno how well that tracks to the actual song's meaning, though.
