Gwent | Nilfgaard | Hospitality Boost Swarm feat. Standard Bearers & Rainfarn
Welcome back after pre-Christmas break Wanderer!
Standard Bearers got a power buff in December 2024 Gwent patch. The card was and still is pretty much unplayed, because requires complex, multistep strategy to guarantee constant value: swarm + boosting whole board with Knight Challenger / Yennefer + getting Bearers payoff. Therefore scaling into short round, defending bleed or winning two rounds in general becomes a challenge.
Demonstrated deck definitely isn't the best or only way to run Standard Bearers. In fact, there probably simply is no place for Bearers in any deck resembling classical Enemy Boost (too slow, doubling down on weaknesses) when it comes to competitive play. The list is oriented for variety and make use of less common Rainfarn + Coup combo as source of points.
My score with the deck was +3 -1 with one game offstream.
