Panasonic S5 Unboxing | S5 First impressions
I was fortunate enough recently to receive the Panasonic S5 on loan from Panasonic under their Loan program... Thank you so much Panasonic, and DK Audio for facilitating, a very exciting 2 weeks for me!

Very quick vid, I've not posted at all recently – I had a tonne of work come in over the last month, and there has just been no time for me! Typical – I wasn't able to give this the full test I wanted but more than enough to know that this is a fantastic camera!
Colour grade is all over the place, we've got the wide shot on an 80D, letting me down on the skin colours it seems, couldn't get anything for the key to complete my teal and orange look. iPhone XR on the top down view, AI exposure gives me plenty of skin colour, and thus, a beefy orange grade here!
I needed to get it out, music is probably too loud, but I needed to drown out the loud packaging! Bah, better done than sitting around on the hard drive waiting. Onwards and upwards!
It's my first experience with Full Frame, and ok... I see the light now. That made things a lot easier, a lot more bokeh to play with, a lot more light, a lot more camera!
I'm a GH5 shooter, this S5 is a nice upgrade, not sure it's worth jumping up to though, the 2.4k it would take to gain camera and lenses may be better justified in better lighting and audio right now for me.
If it were a question of buying more glass for GH5 or upgrading to the S5, I think maybe I'd swing that way, get the S5, enjoy the full frame, better AF and better served for 2021!
