Background video in Tilda Zero Block without code: Result
How to create a video background on a website.
Add a background video to the zero block of a Tilda website without using third-party code. The video will fill the entire block area and display correctly on different devices: mobile, tablets, and computers.
For this method, you'll need a hosting service to upload the video file and get a link.
We'll use our video uploaded to our hosting service or another service that provides a link to the video.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Create a zero block. Set the block height to 100%.
2. Add a video block "add video"
3. Set the properties in the right column:
type: mp4
video url - insert the link
autoplay: autoplay
loop: loop
controls: hide
object fit: cover (to fill the entire frame)
container: window container
axis X: center, axis Y: center
W: 100%, Y: 100%
Save the settings and publish the page.
The video will fill the entire block area, including on mobile devices.
