In this video, Dale shows a clever trick for bringing multiple projects together into one Microsoft Project file while keeping the timing intact and avoiding duplicate resource problems.
Dale walks through how to create a temporary master project, how to identify the earliest project start date, how to apply Start No Earlier Than constraints so later projects stay in place, and how to remove the project links so everything becomes part of one unified schedule.
He also shows one of the most surprising parts of the process: duplicate resources can automatically be combined when the subprojects are converted into one regular project.
