KITCHENER STITCH KNITTING TUTORIAL | How To Graft a Sock Toe | technique & tips for cuff-down socks
This video tutorial demonstrates how to do the Kitchener Stitch, aka grafting live stitches. This technique is typically used on the toes of handknit socks when knit cuff-down, but it can have many more applications including when making alterations (knitting surgery!) to old projects. It's a nifty technique that's easy when you get the hang of it!

-What the Kitchener stitch is
-Its properties, on the right and wrong sides of the fabric
-Tools & equipment needed
-Differentiating between knitwise and purlwise needle insertion
-A full explanation and demonstration of the technique
