Samsung J3 2017 bottom touch buttons not working
The device arrived, as often happens, drenched in liquid.
I gradually cleaned the board, re-soldered it, and replaced the small, corroded SMD components. I connected it to the power supply, and there was no power consumption, resistance was normal. I turned on the Samsung J3 2017, pleased with the work done. However, the joy was short-lived. The lower touch buttons weren't working.
Luckily, I have a schematic for this smartphone. Using the schematic, I determined the problem was in the U5001 chip, p/n TC305K. I found it on a donor phone, also a Samsung. I replaced the chip with a Samsung J330, and the buttons worked. Everyone is happy.
All that remains is to reassemble the Samsung J3 2017 J330.
