A shout out to all the parents who are stuck in lockdown with their kiddos not being able to train like they are used to!
JKA Perth Karate Club - JKASKC Stirling Karate in Karrinyup Perth. Head Instructor Karin Prinsloo (JKA 6th Dan) and Graz Prinsloo (JKA 4th Dan). Children karate classes, adult beginner classes and senior karate lessons.
Childrens classes Mondays and Wednesdays.
5 -6 year old classes are offered in a less formal environment. The club foster a love for karate with a focus on gross motor skill development and the introduction of anti-bullying strategies and techniques.
Dinkies love the structured freedom and varied drills. As their confidence grows, hugs and reassurance from parents will be less frequent. We welcome parents sitting without shoes on the allocated spot on the mat. Thumbs up cheering go a long way to help your dinky achieve amazing new milestones.
We focus on OT principals and gross motor skill development. This will greatly benefit any child at any level, not only in karate, but holistically in all other activities and school work. We also cover anti bullying techniques which helps build confidence in tricky situations.
6 – 12 year old classes are when children enter formal karate training and will be able to attend gradings/tournaments, in order to achieve their black belts and beyond. Students thrive within the JKA karate’s structured learning environment, enabling them to achieve their goals, not only in karate, but life in general. There is a rooted focus on teaching not only physical and mental strength, but developing good character that will benefit them in their daily lives
