Welcome to this short little taster video - of how to keep good posture whilst moving to sit down or from sitting to standing up!
Setting your neutral spine in your seated position, mid way on your way to it or to stand then in standing, helps you hone in on what shape you should be trying to mimic each time. If you can feel it also - that's great as it helps the body remember. Try this little exercise maybe 5 to 10 times at a time initially to train the body awareness, then put it in place every time you sit or stand throughout your day. Automation is valuable!!
This will strengthen your posture and glutes and shape your body posture better so you don't slump or put extra pressure on your knee joints daily.
I hope you enjoy this session and remember to only do what is comfortable in your own body.
