This is my account progression after starting Reboot during the Ignition update. With 6th job released, progression will be slightly faster. I started with 900 legion and a level 210 character from 2015. I've participated in most events and did a lot of dailies. I've never invested in meso gear as I don't enjoy grinding mobs, nor have the time to. It's a reference video for what progress you might have after 1 year of dailystory. I did have a clear idea of how to progress prior to starting, so just play at your own pace. You can progress much faster in Reboot with mes gear and grinding. Progress was made relying on dailies, events, and weekly boss crystals. I actually did my BA slightly wrong, it is slightly higher. I should start it right before my origin skill hits initially, but in the video I did it after.
Bossing Characters:
Level 270 Night Walker: Duo Chaos Tenebris in 30 minutes. Black mage party.
Level 259 Blaster: Solo Normal Lucid and Normal Will.
Level 221 Bishop: Solo Chaos Root Abyss (Can solo Normal Lotus, but I didn't use this character much for weekly boss crystal meso income).
Here is the general gear progression route I took. You can see it in my boss mule gears.
General Gear Goals:
1. Fill equips with 6% stat, 10-12*
2. Princess No Secondary and Normal Emblem to Legendary, with att, ied, boss. Get 1 line att, 1L ied on Emblem. 1L att, 1L boss on secondary. Make equips 17*, use hard cubes for 5% chance to tier to unique. Make unique items 2L. Stars are more important than potentials. Do hell gollux for accessories, may take some practice/failed runs.
3. Once full 17 stars and unique potential equipment, start doing 6 person parties for hard lucid and hard will for arcane equipment.
4. Start making drop gear accessories or tiering up items from unique to legendary. Make the legendary equips with 2L of stat.
5. Spend a chunk of money getting your weapon to legendary 2L, princess no secondary to legendary 3L, emblem to legendary 3L.
5. Push equipment that you can afford to destroy to 21 stars like CRA. Emblem to legendary 3L. You can slowly progress each equipment by one star such as 18-19-21* method for efficient gains
6. Once you are full 21*and 2L legendary, you can start to aim for 3L and 22* equipment.
