QUEEN- The Show Must Go On [vocal cover by TSOORAJ]
For most musicians, there are two tastes they have in music and musicians, one is the taste for the music they love listening to and the other is the taste for the type of music they love composing or writing.
In my case, when it comes to the taste for the former,(ie the stuff I love listening to) the very first name (irrespective of most genres of music) if I have to take in terms of my favourite vocalist of all times, its always gonna be the one and only Farrokh Bulsara a.k.a the legendary FREDDIE MERCURY of Queen.
So, today on the late legend's 74th birthday, I decided to give a small tribute to him by covering the last song THE SHOW MUST GO ON off the last Queen album(with Freddie Mercury) "INNUENDO" which was released 7 months before Freddie's untimely passing on November 24th 1991.
The reason why I chose this song in particular, instead of so many different other fan favourite Queen classics is because first of all this is 'the' last song of the last album Mercury ever recorded with Queen, and secondly because legend has it that during the recording of this song Freddie was in such bad shape because of his complications with AIDS, that guitarist Brian May thought he won't be able to dub the vocals for this particular song. But instead, Freddie just gulped down some vodka and completed the whole song in just one take just like that ..... !!!😯😍🤩
